First written

To the tune of Huanxisha · Three days later, again staying the night in another house, lying restless in bed

Long starved, the yuanchu phoenix; the bamboo seeds are gone. In another house, one wutong branch, borrowed for now. Where is a sweet spring that could water the chest? You play the Xianchi and Shao music to delight the sea bird; I set out cauldrons and platters to regale the wild goose in flight. Morsel and cup not yet raised, the eyes have misted first.
